Gordon teaches him some tricks to serving a full restaurant all at once. They take the produce back to the restaurant and Mike cooks his Grandmothers meatball recipe. Mike is taken to a local farm to pick tomatoes so he can embrace using fresh ingredients. Gordon discovers Mike's Italian heritage, his Grandmother was Italian and he loved to cook with her. The books are all donated to the local charity shop. ![]() Gordon comes in the next morning to tackle Mike’s safety net of all the cook books that he creates the menu from. Gordon gives feedback that the menu is too much for them, Mike only cooks one table at a time and the couple are too argumentative. Gordon cannot believe the service he has just seen and one of the waitresses tells him that this is how the service usually goes.Īt the end of service, half of the customers didn't get their food and Caron and Mike disappear out the back of the restaurant. Two hours into the service and customers are snacking on bread and other bar snacks.Ĭaron and Mike soon find something to argue about and Gordon has to bear witness to it all.Ī frustrated customer comes into the kitchen to ask where his food is and is told to leave and not to come back with many swear words.Ī few minutes later another comes in and swears and is also asked to leave by Caron with Mike escorting the customer off the premises. Mike struggles to cook the huge menu and the food takes a very long time to leave the kitchen as he cooks one dish at a time. Gordon arrives to observe a dinner service, Mike is in the kitchen whilst Caron runs the front of house. He confronts Mike about these reviews and eventually he confesses that he wrote the fake reviews of the restaurant including one from someone in Afghanistan. Gordon asks about his meal and discovers that Mike used a jar of Uncle Bens curry sauce for the korma.Ĭoncerned with the reputation of the restaurant Gordon uses Google to search for the restaurant online and finds many positive reviews. Gordon is honest with the feedback, telling Mike that he is not a chef and he should not cook what he is not trained to cook. The chicken koma is messy and the spinach looks like welsh snot. Gordon’s monk fish recipe is next and he likes how the fish was roasted but the shallots are raw. Gordon is served a minestrone soup first but Caron is hanging over him. He orders the minestrone soup, one of his own monkfish recipes and a chicken korma. Gordon notices the menu is a mish mash of different cuisines from various places and there is no uniformity. He meets the couple and Gordon spots one of his recipes on the menu board. Gordon arrives as the restaurant and it is an unmissable blue building at the end of a narrow road. They also argue with customers and their business has suffered. It is known that the arguments have gotten so bad that they have been arrested. One of the main problems of the restaurant is Mike and Caron having arguments. Mike has lots of cook books he likes to try recipes from including Gordon Ramsay’s. ![]() The restaurant is a bright blue sports bar that is full of memorabilia.
